許承傑，畢業於清華大學工程與系統科學系、紐約大學電影製作研究所。曾以短片《龍蝦小孩》獲2016年洛杉磯亞太影展金軸獎；短片《孤味》入選2017年學生奧斯卡劇情類決賽。首部同名劇情長片《孤味》被選為2020年香港電影節開幕片，並入選釜山、東京等國際影展。
Joseph Hsu Chen-chieh earned an MFA in Film Production from New York University Tisch School of the Arts Asia. His short film, Guo Mie, was selected as the finalist of the 2017 Student Academy Awards. Little Big Women is his feature debut.
