Joe Hsieh is an award-winning animator whose works often explore the dark side of human nature and are filled with horror and suspense. His Meat Days(2006) and The Present(2012) won Best Animation at the 2008 and 2013 San Diego Asian Film Festival. Night Bus(2020) was awarded Best Animated Short Film in the 2020 Taipei Golden Horse Award.
