故事發想源於自己的代課日常，在抑鬱的情緒中，兩段上下班的記憶尤為深刻。上班路上，看見幾個小朋友打掉馬路旁的反光導標，暴力對待黃色和紅色號誌的同時，伴隨著他們無憂無慮的嘻笑聲，讓人不禁陷入沉思。被破壞的反光導標，只剩下徒留塑膠基座的水泥護欄，失去了夜間警示的功能。 下班的途中，當機車差點衝進大水溝裡時，腦海中瞬間浮現出早上那幾個孩子的嬉鬧場景。 畫面中的赤星椿橡，成為了我視覺化孩童慾望與惡意的象徵。雖然赤星椿橡本身對自然無害，但當鮮豔且小巧的紅色身軀叢聚在一起時，卻不免令人感到畏懼。從若蟲到成蟲的過程，宛如孩童純粹慾望的累積，最終演變成龐大的惡意。 本作品利用石膏板與粉彩製作動畫，透過刮擦與塗抹的方式，呈現兒童單純的快樂與暴力。共完成了1301張石膏拍攝畫面，並參考了杜馬拉（Piotr Dumala）《罪與罰》的動畫製作方式。 起初，希望通過這種媒介表達對孩童不成熟行為的控訴，然而，隨著一次次地塗抹與刮除顏色，那粗糙且自由的繪畫過程，逐漸治癒了我內心的傷痕與不滿。
The story is inspired by my daily experience as a substitute teacher. Amidst feelings of depression, two memories from my commutes stand out. On my way to work, I saw a group of children knocking over the reflective road markers on the side of the road. As they violently tampered with the yellow and red signs, their carefree laughter echoed, making me ponder deeply. The broken road markers were left with nothing but the plastic bases and cement barriers, losing their function as nighttime warnings.
On my way home, when a motorcycle almost crashed into a drainage ditch, the playful scene of the children from the morning instantly flashed in my mind.
In the imagery, the red star oak became a visual symbol of children’s desires and malice. Although the red star oak itself is harmless to nature, when the small, vivid red bodies gather together, they inevitably evoke a sense of fear. The process from larvae to adult resembles the accumulation of children’s pure desires, which ultimately transforms into enormous malice.
This work uses plasterboard and pastels to create an animation, depicting children’s simple joy and violence through scraping and smearing techniques. A total of 1301 plaster shots were completed, and the animation style was inspired by Piotr Dumala’s Crime and Punishment.
Initially, I hoped to use this medium to express my criticism of children’s immature behavior. However, as I repeatedly smeared and scraped away the colors, the rough and free artistic process gradually healed the emotional scars and dissatisfaction within me.
